Canipe Construction is your exclusive custom home builder in the Charlotte, Huntersville and Lake Norman areas. We specialize in $150-$700K new home construction, but we also excel in renovations/remodeling, home additions and light commercial construction/building. We spend quality time on details believing that truly excellent homes are built by people of principles and integrity.

Our Building Process

We will personally walk you through every aspect of the home building process to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed. Each of our homes are constructed as uniquely as our clients. Canipe Construction is all about customer choices. Your home building experience should express your goals, your style and your way of life. There are many factors to consider when building a home. Simply bring us your design, sketches and/or ideas and we'll map out the steps to your dream home.

We begin by sitting down with you to get to know each other better and discuss the issues involved in the custom home building process. We realize that this might be an entirely new experience for you, and we want to make sure you fully understand what is involved, and that any fears you have are alleviated immediately. In this first meeting, we also learn where you're at in the homesite and floorplan selection process. If you have any questions about home financing, or need recommendations of preferred home lenders, we are happy to provide this information as well. We are also happy to provide references for you.

Company History

Canipe Construction is Skip and Heather Canipe.

Skip Canipe was born and raised in North Charlotte and has never left. He learned his strong work ethic from growing up on the family farm. Skip believes that reputation is the most important thing to a small business. Skip has been using this belief to provide family's in the Lake Norman area quality homes for over 15 years.

Heather Canipe is also a native to North Charlotte. She had the same childhood as her husband Skip. Together with Heather's skill as a home designer and Skip's skills as a builder, they have created an outstanding team built on reputation and integrity.
